Design of Experiments (DOE)

Design of Experiment (DOE) is:
  • a technique to systematically identify varying levels of independent variables.

It determines:

  • which variable has the greatest effect.
  • what is the relationship between each variable and the quality specifications (with customer focused).
  • What is the best value for each variable, ensuring optimal quality or value.

This looks incorrect to me or at least too incomplete to allow understanding

DOE is a systematic approach to investigation of a system or process. A series of structured tests are designed in which planned changes are made to the input variables of a process or system. The effects of these changes on a pre-defined output are then assessed.

It is not changing one variable at a time to see the effect
